We offer monthly or quarterly bookkeeping to keep your books up-to-date. We customize the tasks for your needs, but this often includes entering all bank transactions, credit card transactions, and payroll records. In some cases, we can also assist with accounts receivable (invoices) and accounts payable (vendor bills). We always reconcile bank accounts, and make sure financial statements are accurate. In addition, we understand the accounting behind more complex issues like loans vs. leases, multi-company ownership, escrow accounts, capital asset purchases, and accrual-basis financial preparation. We may make suggestions for re-structuring your accounts and reports to make them more useful. 

We maintain the  3-Way trust reporting required by the North Carolina State Bar and most other states. We have educated ourselves on Bar requirements and participated in several (successful!) Bar audits. We will make sure that you are prepared for a Bar audit with up-to-date, Bar-compliant monthly trust accounting. It’s easy to get behind on your bookkeeping. We frequently enter multiple months or years of bookkeeping to get you up-to-date – always a great stress-reducer for clients! In addition to entering all bank and credit card transactions, we’ll reconcile bank accounts and produce financial reports.

We fondly call this service rec-n-check and it is popular with our larger clients. Your office enters the majority of the QuickBooks data; we’ll provide bookkeeping oversight on a monthly basis by reconciling bank accounts, verifying payroll, entering those tricky or one-time transactions, reviewing financial statements for accuracy, answering bookkeeping questions, pointing out issues that you may want to discuss with your CPA, and reviewing reports with you as needed. We work closely with your staff to mentor and guide future improvements.

Barry’s 30 years of IT experience have been put to work helping clients who have special technology needs. For example, he can program custom Excel spreadsheets, using QuickBooks data or other input, to meet unique reporting requirements.
